Isaiah 61:1-3

The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me; he has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to the prisoners; to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; to provide for those who mourn in Zion— to give them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit. They will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, to display his glory.

The life Gloria Smith

Dear Mama

We thought of you today.

But that’s nothing new.

We thought about you yesterday.

And days before that too.

We think of you in silence.

We often say your name daily.

Now all we have is only great/awesome memories of you.

Now each of us have graceful/beautiful pictures of you looking back at us.

Your memories are our keepsakes and we will continue to hold on to these memories forever.

God had better and brighter plans for you and now.  He has you in His arms keeping you safe and secure.

Mama, You will always be in our hearts.

Love you always.
